Speedtag is a fast-paced Lasertag sport, played in a boundary-defined open field environment with barricades and/or obstacles strategically stationed throughout the field. Two teams compete to capture electronic devices placed in the center of the play area. Additionally, players accumulate scores as they hit and eliminate their opponents by shooting player-based targets such as headbands and taggers. Eliminated players must return to a respawn point where they are reactivated, at which point they return to the field to continue objectives. The winner can be determined by the total team points or by flag objectives being met. Team matchups can be 5v5,6v6, or 7v7. Rounds are typically 5 minutes.
